Welcome to Ludi! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ludi platform, website (Ludi.social), mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Eligibility and Security
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use Ludi.
Beta & Invitation Access: During our initial launch phases, access to Ludi may require an exclusive invitation code. These codes are non-transferable for monetary value.
Account Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the in-app settings. Upon deletion, your personal profile data (bio, banner, profile picture) and standard social posts will be permanently removed. Any game reviews you have submitted will remain on the platform to maintain game ranking integrity, but will be completely anonymized and stripped of all personal identifiers.
2. End User License Agreement (EULA), User Content & Community Rules
Ownership: You retain ownership of the text reviews, star ratings, images, and profile descriptions that you post to the platform.
License Grant: By posting content on Ludi, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content across our services and user feeds.
Platform Syncing: If you choose to utilize our Log-in & Platform Sync feature, you authorize Ludi to securely interface with third-party gaming marketplaces (including Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games Store) to import your game libraries, playtime, and achievements. Ludi is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by these external networks.
Objectionable Content & Zero-Tolerance Policy: Ludi maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, hateful, harassing, racially or ethnically offensive, sexually explicit, or infringing on intellectual property. Ludi utilizes automated filtering mechanisms to proactively flag and remove harmful or inappropriate content.
Moderation, Reporting & User Blocking: Users can report objectionable content or abusive accounts directly within the app at any time. Users also have the ability to block abusive users, which immediately hides all content from the blocked user. Once content or a user is reported, Ludi will review and act upon the report within 24 hours. Ludi reserves the right to immediately remove violating content and temporarily suspend or permanently terminate offending user accounts without prior notice.
3. Third-Party Services
Ludi utilizes trusted third-party infrastructure providers to run the Service, including but not limited to Expo, Sentry (for crash reporting), Clerk (for secure authentication), and Convex (for database management). By using Ludi, you acknowledge that your data is processed through these secure back-end services in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Limitation of Liability & Termination
Ludi provides the Service "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior warning, if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the safety or integrity of the Ludi community.
